About the Role:

We are recruiting for reliable and hardworking Construction Cleaners to join a growing team working across a variety of construction sites and new-build developments.

This is a varied role involving everything from cleaning site welfare facilities and offices through to initial deep cleans, maintenance cleans and final sparkle cleans on completed properties ready for handover.

The successful candidate will have previous cleaning experience, a good eye for detail and be comfortable travelling between different sites.

Due to the nature of the role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own reliable vehicle.

All cleaning equipment and materials are provided, and you will be responsible for looking after and maintaining the equipment supplied.

Requirements:

• Carry out cleaning duties across construction sites and new-build developments.
• Clean site welfare facilities, offices and communal areas.
• Complete initial deep cleans on properties.
• Carry out ongoing maintenance cleans.
• Complete final sparkle cleans prior to property handover.
• Ensure properties and work areas are cleaned to a consistently high standard.
• Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of cleaning equipment provided.
• Travel between different sites as required.
• Work independently once training has been successfully completed.
• Maintain a professional and reliable approach when working on client sites.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Previous professional cleaning experience is essential.
• Construction cleaning or new-build cleaning experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with deep cleans or sparkle cleans would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to your own reliable vehicle.
• Comfortable travelling between different construction sites.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Able to work independently.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Comfortable taking responsibility for company equipment.
• Willing to complete required CSCS training.
• Able to work as part of a wider construction and cleaning team.

Training & CSCS:

Full training will be provided, including an initial two-week shadowing period working alongside an experienced member of the team.

Following a successful interview, candidates will be required to complete the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test and obtain a CSCS Red Card.

The cost of obtaining the initial card will be reimbursed by the company.

Following successful completion of the 12-week temp-to-perm period, the company will fund the upgrade to a Green CSCS Card.

Travel & Equipment:

• All cleaning equipment and materials are provided.
• Candidates will be expected to take responsibility for maintaining and caring for equipment supplied.
• Mileage is paid after the first 15 miles travelled from your home address.
• A full driving licence and own vehicle are essential due to travelling between sites.
